Christmas tree theme: “An Old-fashioned Tree”

We wanted to create a tree that made you feel as if you were in the country, maybe on the way to your Grandma's house. We filled the tree with all handmade ornaments. We included hand sewn gingerbread boys, hearts, stockings etc. Many were wood cutouts, or glass balls, all hand painted. We made the angels from wool off of our own sheep! We filled in with crocheted snowflakes, and cinnamon ornaments. The rag tree skirt and rag garland made from homespun fabrics tied the whole look together.
